2013 CSA Membership Application
Here at Sol y Sombra Farm, we understand the importance of healthy soil, organic produce and buying local which is why we are so committed to producing fresh fruits and vegetables and reaching out to the community with everything we grow.
We invite you to join our community supported agriculture program by downloading the CSA Membership Application and becoming an intregral part of the Sol y Sombra Farm family.
During the 2010 growing season we doubled our garden area so that now in 2013 we can offer you a wider variety of vegetables, beautiful melons, flavorful herbs and stunning flowers. From the first week of May to the last week of September CSA members will receive a basket of fresh (seasonal) produce.
We know what it feels like to get a basket with kale, chard or another vegetable that you don't normally cook with, which is why we will be offering weekly recipes and helpful tips on our Facebook CSA newsletter. The recipes will highlight a key vegetable we deliver that week and hopefully inspire a new way to prepare and enjoy any edible item we have to offer.
This is one of the greatest joys of gardening, using what you grew to create a healthy and delicious meal for you and your loved ones.
We encourage our CSA members to offer their opinions or favorite way to enjoy their weekly produce. We also invite you to enjoy the beautiful seasonal flowers available throughout the growing season with their wide variety of uses.
With your support local agriculture is able to blossom. By purchasing from farms within your area, you are not only helping the hard working families who work long hours in the field to supply markets with local organic produce, but you are stimulating the local economy.

- Provide your Name, Mailing Address, Phone and Email information.
- Select from the following plans:
- Family Produce Share = $650
- Small Produce Share = $475
- Flower Share = $135
- Sign and Date the CSA Membership Application.
- Enclose a check for $300 deposit or full payment.
- Mail the CSA Membership Application with check or money order to:

- Agreement Terms:
I understand that I am committing to the 2013 growing season at Sol y Sombra Farm and that I am sharing in the risks and challenges of belonging to a CSA and farming.
I understand that quantities and timing of my share may be affected by adverse weather events.
I agree to pay my balance by May 1, 2013 and I understand no refunds are provided.
